As a Detroit-based corporate and editorial photographer, Santa Fabio specializes in photographing people on location. Her shots and clients are as diverse as her photographs, ranging from the rebirth of Detroit's theater district to CEOs for local and national corporations and publications. She has also had a long and active career as a photojournalist. Santa worked for both of the city's major daily newspapers, the Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News.

In this photo, renovation is being done at the downtown Fox Theater, a Detroit landmark. A demolition worker is removing the original hemp that was installed backstage in 1928.

A native Detroiter, she continues to live here with her family.
