
| George Waldman has spent more than twenty-five years shooting journalism photography in Detroit. He spent eight years with the Detroit News, more than ten years with the Detroit Free Press, and most recently two years with the Detroit Sunday Journal. His work has also appeared in many national and international magazines. These publications include the New York Times, the Village Voice, Solidarity, the Washington Post, and Black Enterprise. In 1997 he produced the book Voices of the Strike, which covered the effects of the prolonged Detroit newspaper dispute on the striking workers and their families . He lives in Detroit with his family. |
